Med outfit is composed of heat resistant Jacket and trousers or approaching the fire, destined to maritime Fire Fighters.
This suit has been designed and obtained to protect the operator against brief contact with the flame, convective heat and radiant heat.
This PPE is not suitable for use in the fight against fires (not fire entry suit) nor for use in operations where resistance to permeation of gaseous and / or liquid chemicals is required.

The jacket and trousers have been tested to be compliant with UNI EN ISO 13688: 2013 and ISO 15538: 2001.

The jacket and trousers are made with a 4-layer compound:
• the outer layer is composed of 100% para-aramid aluminized fiber - SOFT version (470 g/sqm);
• The second layer is composed of a 70% pre-oxidized polyacrylonitrile and 30% polyester (550 g / sqm) fabric.
• The third layer is composed of a 70% pre-oxidized polyacrylonitrile and 30% polyester (160 g / sqm) fabric.**
• the fourth layer is the lining made of 100% FR cotton (160 g / sqm).**
** 3rd and 4th layer are joined, with 100% twaron yarn 50/4, by a diamond quilting.

- MED approved helmet incl faceshield and neckprotection
- MED approved gloves
- MED approved boots
