The QuickFit coupling range is designed to connect plain ended pipes with the same
outside diameters. The full range includes couplings and flange adaptors to suit pipes
with nominal sizes between DN40 (1.5") and DN300 (12").

Applications
The QuickFit range is designed for use in new-lay, and other specified situations where the
pipe material and nominal sizes are known in advance. The range is not suitable for use

Ease of Installation
All QuickFit products are pre-assembled allowing quick and efficient installation,
even in the most difficult of conditions without the need for site dismantling.
Corrosion and Site Protection All QuickFit components, excluding nuts
and bolts, are coated as standard with the thermoplastic polymer Rilsan Nylon 11,
in Viking Johnson’s own fluidised bed dipping facilities. Rilsan Nylon 11 has met
the stringent performance standards of WIS 4-52-01 (Part 1) which requires the
highest adhesion, flexibility, penetration and impact resistance characteristics.

As a result, all products are well equipped to withstand transport, storage, site and
corrosion damage eliminating the need for further protection such as on-site
wrapping. QuickFit products are also available in Galvanised and Shopcoat
finishes. QuickFit nuts & bolts are coated with Sheraplex.
Sheraplex has met the stringent performance standards of WIS 4-52-03.

Quality
QuickFit range products are designed and manufactured under quality management
systems certified to BS EN ISO 9001 and have been tested by Viking Johnson’s
comprehensive in-house research facilities to the most exacting performance
requirements of the WRC‘s Water Bye-laws scheme. QuickFit products also conform to
the American Water Works Association standard C.219
for bolted couplings. As with all Viking Johnson
products, QuickFit couplings are designed to outlast the
pipes on which they are fitted.
